The PORCELAIN enamel is a vitreous coating, that protects and
decorates the surfaces. High performance, is obtained from th
e
fusion of inorganic raw materials of mineral and artificial origin
,
subsequently solidified by a rapid cooling. The handmade article
s
to which it is applied, are vitrified by a cooking process inside
ovens at high temperatures. This process determines an unifor
m
drawing up and an enamel penetrability on the support and creates
a new composite material called PORCELAIN STEEL.
The porcelain steel protects the metal handmade articles,
indefinitely prolonging life.
Cleaning agents (organic solvents, detergents and disinfectants
)
can be used safely without causing damage to enamel surfaces.
The rain, pollutants, salinity, sunlight and temperature changes do
not damage the enamel surface and do not alter the colour or the
brightness
.
If intact, the enamel surfaces are free of porosity and captiou
s
objections, therefore completely impermeable to liquids
.
The enamel products have a very hard vitreous surface with high
impact resistance to scratch, abrasion and wear. According to th
e
“Mohs scale” enamels included from 5° to 7°.
Even the thin coats of enamel assure a good resistance to
accidental impacts.
The porcelain surfaces does not undergo degradation in contact
with the heat and the direct flame to the fire. Moreover, all th
e
enamels easily support the thermal shock superior to 30° C
.
The porcelain surfaces can be colored in a large range of colour
s
including gloss, matt and semi-opaque, which are stable ove
r
time, not fading and changing of shades
.
The hard, smooth and free of porosity surface area makes
impossible the small scratches formation, where the dirt or soo
t
could cling to it. The porcelain steel is an inert material and thu
s
neither emits nor absorbs odors
.
Thanks to their hardness and abrasion resistance, the enameled
handmade articles are easy to clean and it determines the easines
s
of maintenance
.
ALA spa, thanks to the modern technology, achieves maximu
m
results with a minimum use of raw materials and minimal waste
and residue production. The porcelain products, unlike those
plastic, galvanized or painted, are eco compatible and producing
no emissions, can satisfy increasingly strict environmental
Regulations. The PORCELAIN STEEL is made from 97% recyclabl
e
materials.
