a) For angles a < 40°, an additional 90° bend must be installed outside (see picture)

b) For angles a > 50°, the additional 90° bend must be positioned inside (see picture)

For 40° - 50°

The second, newly formed angle is always larger in both cases, leading to weaker compensation.
