GENERAL SALES TERMS

PRICES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

This document replaces and cancels all preceding ones. The prices of the current cata-

logue do not include V.A.T. neither comprehensive of RAEE contribution; The payment of

the goods must follow the agreed terms, mentioned on the invoice. In case of delay of the

stated terms, Capannoli Srl reserves itself the right to suspend or to cancel the pending or-

ders if any. Once got the payment the lead-time of the pending orders will be recalculated.

The delay of the terms of payment will determine the debit of interests following the en-

forced T.U.S., increased of 5 points percentages plus the banking expenses. Lacquered

colours are available on all the metal products if not quoted, their prices + 30% over the

chrome price.

Prices of the items not included in our catalogue, will be informed after your written re-

quest, by issuing an offer, that will be valid for a period of 30 days.

SHIPPING TERMS

Shipping terms are mentioned on our offer; however, they are mentioned only as a propo-

sal, and they can be changed. It is understood that Capannoli Srl won’t be responsible for

delays or lacked delivery, in partial or total, for every cause. For items not included on our

catalogue or “customized” our Company reserves the right to consider their feasibility and

to establish prices and delivery terms.

PACKING

Our products are packed in single boxes and supplied with screws and plugs. If needed a

hexagonal screw-drive (except for the series “Special”) will be supplied with.

The series if purchased as complete set of 6/8 pieces can be supplied in a suitcases, if

requested by the customer (at the same price).

If the shipment requires a pallet, an additional €10.00 excluding VAT will be charged on the

invoice.

Capannoli Srl has however the exclusive right to choose the way of packing.

TRANSPORT

The goods travels to risk and danger of the Purchaser. The Consignee is held to check the

goods at its arrival and to contest eventual damages directly to the carrier also when the

goods travels in free port (within 8 days from delivery).

Every shipment is carried out from the Capannoli Srl that reserves itself the choice of the

carrier, unless than the Purchaser prefers to pay and send directly a different carrier. The

carriage fees are debit on the invoice.

CLAIMS

Every supply is understood accepted after 8 days from the reception of the goods without

claims. No product can be returned without our written authorization.

No authorization will be allowed to return items no more present in our pricelist and for all

the customized products.

On the way bill of the returned goods, must be mentioned the references of the purchase

invoice.

IDENTIFICATION DATA

The customer is responsible of all the informed identification data, like: Company name,

Residence, Place of delivery, V.A.T number, and for all the requirements of the enforced le-

gislation. The data provided will be processed, also using informatics tools and procedures,

for the execution of contractual obligations and the sending of catalogues and price lists

relating to our products. Pursuant to Legislative Decree. 196/03 – Art. 24 “Cases in which

processing can be carried out without consent”, our Company is not required to request

consent for your personal data, given the purposes indicated above. Information on the

processing of personal data EX D.L.gs. 196/03-Art. 13.

CONTROVERSIES

For any controversy between the Capannoli Srl and the customer, it will be always and only

competent the place of Siena. The here above sales terms are understood accepted by

sending the purchase order.

TECHNICAL DATA

The electrical appliances are marked CE based on the European Directives.

Our bathroom products are available in the following productive combinations:

A) Lacquered colors (XX)

Every single piece is scoured and sanded before the enamelling treatment, after which

epoxy dust is applied and the pieces are « baked » in an oven at 180°C for 60 minutes.

Laquered colours are available on all the metal products, if not quoted, their price is + 30%

over the chrome price.

B) Chromed Brass (33)

At an earlier phase of detailed cleaning every piece is treated as follows: they are galvani-

sed with nickel and chromed.

C) Brass and Galvanic Finish (PP/EE)

At an earlier phase of cleaning every piece is treated as follows: they are galvanised with

nickel and then 24 carat bath gold or Nickel-matt , Satin-nickel, Satin-brass, Satin-bronze,

Satin-copper. The items have been covered by a transparent protection in the oven at 160°

for 60 minutes.

All ceramics supplied with our items are in glazed white paste. All measurements are

express in centimetres, except other indication : L . H. P. Length-High-Depth, overall size

Cl. centiliters Lt. liters Ø diameter.

Our bathroom articles are produced according to construction criteria which guaran-

tee their durability and permanence with time; for cleaning, it is only necessary to use a

damp sponge with water and a non abrasive cloth for drying: they must not be treated

with acids, detergent powders, or negligence. Alcohol and other abrasive substances

or substances that could corrode the silver plating must never be used to clean the

mirrors. Use a damp cloth and dry carefully. The company Capannoli reserves the final

right, to carry out modification with the aim of improving the production.

N.B. Over time, and with normal use of the accessory, the “bronze” and “copper” fini-

shes may show black specks due to the oxidation of the brass, despite having been pro-

tected by a transparent paint (glossy or matt). This is due to the fact that these types of

treatments do not allow nickel plating on raw brass. Therefore, since this is a feature of

the product and not a production defect, the items supplied in these finishes will not be

replaced if the above described occurs.

WARRANTY CERTIFICATE (chromed-brass products)

Our warranty and liability for product quality are limited to the replacement of parts found

to be defective during use due to ascertained defects in workmanship.

The warranty will automatically become void should the articles not be installed or used

according to the manufacturer’s indications, namely:

1) if the defects are caused by falls or shocks;

2) if the articles were tampered with by inexpert persons;

3) if filters and water softeners were not installed upstream of the taps;

4) if the external finish becomes stained or ruined also due to normal use;

5) if the buyer is unable to provide this waWrranty certificate and proof of purchase.

The warranty shall not in any event entitle the buyer to any reimbursement of costs and

indemnity for damages. Authorisation must be obtained from the manufacturer prior to re-

turn of any goods. This voucher must be returned with the defective article and specifying

the nature of the claim for defects in workmanship.

WARNING - Do not subject glass parts to stress as they might break, causing injury. The

company declines all responsibility.

Capannoli Srl sole owner, reserves the right, whether he considers necessary, to apply the

technical and aesthetic modifications. The colours of the products may sometimes be dif-

ferent from those shown in this catalogue.
