Folded XL riproduce l’effetto della carta piegata della collezione ori-

ginale, ma in un grande formato di 100x300 cm, con uno spessore

di 5,6 mm. La nuova versione è realizzata interamente con un im-

pasto extra-white di grès porcellanato, senza l’ausilio di smalti e

colouranti. Gli elementi sono adatti a una posa a pavimento e a

rivestimento, in interni ed esterni, in quanto le caratteristiche tecniche

di prodotto UGL (unglazed / non smaltato) superano ampiamente

i limiti prescritti dalle norme internazionali previsti per i grandi for-

mati. Folded XL è materia pura pressata all’interno di un impianto

ceramico di ultima generazione che consente, per la prima volta,

di realizzare strutture a rilievo su lastre di grandi dimensioni. In

questo modo il pattern si espande permettendo ai giochi di luce

e ombra di svilupparsi ancora più agevolmente lungo tutta la su-

perficie.

Folded XL reproduces the effect of the folded paper of the original

collection, but in a larger size: 100x300 cm, with a thickness of

5,6 mm. The new version is made entirely of an extra-white porce-

lain stoneware mixture, without the use of enamels and dyes. The

elements are suitable for floors and walls, for indoor and outdoor

use, as their technical characteristics well exceed the limits prescribed

by the international standards for large, unglazed slabs.

Folded XL consists of pure material pressed inside a latest-genera-

tion ceramic system that allows to create relief structures on large-

size slabs for the first time. This way the pattern expands, allowing

the play of light and shadow to develop even more easily along

the entire surface.
