Vesuvio

Dall’aspetto leggero e poroso, ma allo stesso tempo solido come la terra stessa, Vesuvio è simile alla pietra di tufo

che ha origine dall’accumulo di materie vulcaniche e frammenti di calcare e silice. Si ispira ai palazzi dell’antica

Parthènope, il cuore arcaico di Napoli, la città sorta sopra la cava da cui proveniva la pietra utilizzata per costruirla.

Having a light and porous appearance, still solid like the earth itself, Vesuvio is similar to tuff stone which originates from

the accumulation of volcanic materials and fragments of limestone and silica. It is inspired by the palaces of ancient

Parthènope, the archaic heart of Naples, the city built over the quarry from which the stone used to build it originated.
