1.6 Working temperature and pressure of CSST tubing systems

La massima temperatura di esercizio delle sistemi CSST dipen-

de da molti fattori e principalmente:

• materiale dei componenti del sistema;

• tubi corrugati formabili CSST in acciaio inossidabile

AISI 304 o AISI 316L: 550°C;

• raccordi in ottone CW614N / CW617N: 250°C;

• elementi di tenuta: vedere il prospetto a pagina 44 in fun-

zione del materiale specifico;

• materiale dell’eventuale rivestimento esterno.

La massima pressione di esercizio dei tubi CSST è in funzione

della massima temperatura di esercizio dell’impianto.

The maximum operative temperature of the CSST system de-

pends on many factors and mainly:

• system components material;

• CSST pliable corrugated tubes in AISI 304 or AISI 316L

stainless steel: 550°C;

• fittings in CW614N / CW617N brass: 250°C;

• sealing elements: see table at page 44 in function of their

specific material;

• material of the external coating (if any).

The maximum operative pressure of the CSST tubes is in

function of the operative temperature of the plant.
