Linking sustainability to

each piece of furniture

Thinking sustainably has always been an innate way of how we work at Mater. But the last

year’s increased attention to the subject has taught us that it is equally important to tell

the story of sustainability in connection to the individual product. On our website, you

can thus find information on which of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

each product supports. Visually, it is also possible to easily decode if the furniture is made

from MatekTM, our patented waste material, as well, as it is possible to see how much waste

has been used in the production of the piece. And last but not least, you can also see the

carbon footprint of each product.
