L'arte dell'equilibrio. Nendo firma un pezzo

di incredibile bellezza: undici elementi in legno

sagomato, il Cedro di Libano, di cui solo sei

sostengono il top di vetro temperato. Il pregio delle

essenze del legno crea un effetto di sospensione

con il piano: tutto è armonia attorno cui ruotano

estetica e funzione, come il suo nome, Ishi, “il

percorso per raggiungere uno scopo”.

This balancing act from Nendo is a piece

of striking beauty. It features eleven contoured

elements in Cedar of Lebanon wood where only

six of the pieces serve to support the tempered

glass top. The distinctive quality of the wood helps

create the illusion of a suspended tabletop. With

Ishi, which translates as “the path to achieve a

goal”, aesthetics and function revolve around the

equilibrated shape.
