La lettura delle caratteristiche
di ogni colore di Cromie può essere
fatta intuitivamente, sulla base
della posizione di ogni tinta all’interno
della famiglia di appartenenza,
oppure in modo più preciso,
attraverso la Notazione NCS,
per rafforzare l’uso strategico della
ceramica in ambito progettuale.

è un sistema logico di ordinamento
e descrizione del colore basato
sulla nostra percezione. La
Notazione NCS si basa sulla
somiglianza tra un preciso colore e i
sei colori che l’occhio umano
identifica come fondamentali: bianco
(W), nero (S), giallo (Y), rosso (R), blu
(B) e verde (G).
I parametri considerati per descrivere
il colore sono la tinta, la cromaticità
e la nerezza.

5005 indica la nuance, cioè il grado
di somiglianza con il nero (50%) e
con la massima cromaticità (5%);
Y20R è la tonalità ed indica
la somiglianza del colore ai due
colori elementari giallo (Y=80%)
e rosso (R=20%). Quindi Fango 06
ha nerezza 50%, cromaticità 5%
e rappresenta un giallo con il 20%
di rosso.

is a logical colour arrangement
and description system based on
our perception. The NCS Notation is
based on how much of a
resemblance a colour has to the six
colours that the human eyes identify
as elementary: white (W), black (S),
yellow (Y), red (R), blue (B) and green
(G). The parameters taken into
consideration to describe colour are
hue, chromaticness and blackness.
For example Cromie Fango 06
has NCS Notation S 5005-Y20R,
where: S is the standard sample –

to the colour nuance, i.e. the level
of similarity with the colour black
(50%) and with the maximum
chromaticness (5%); Y20R is the hue
and indicates the similarity of the
colour to the elementary colours
yellow (Y= 80%) and red (R=20%).
Therefore in Fango 06 blackness
is 10% the chromaticness is 50%,
and it’s a yellow with 20% of red.

même famille. Elle offre également
une remarquable précision grâce à la

et qui permet d’utiliser la céramique de
manière encore plus stratégique dans

est un système chromatique
qui decrit la couleur telle qu’elle est
percue par l’homme. La Notation NCS
se base sur la ressemblance entre une
couleur consideree et les six couleurs
que l’œil humain identifie comme étant
fondamentales: blanc (W), noir (S),
jaune (Y), rouge (R), bleu (B) et vert (G).
Par exemple Cromie Fango 06 corres-
pond au code NCS S 5005-Y20R, où: S:

5005 indique la nuance, à savoir le degré
de ressemblance avec le noir (50%)
et avec la chromaticité maximale (5%).
Y20R est la tonalité et indique la res-
semblance de la couleur avec les deux
couleurs élémentaires, jaune (Y=80%) et
rouge (R=20%). Fango 06 a donc 50%
de noirceur et 5% de chromaticité et
représente un jaune avec 20% de rouge.

lage unserer Wahrnehmung. Das NCS
Notation beruht auf der Ähnlichkeit
zwischen einer bestimmten Farbe und
den sechs Farben, die das menschliche
Auge als Grundfarben erkennt: Weiß
(W), schwarz (S), gelb (Y), rot (R), blau (B)
und grün (G). Die für die Beschreibung
der Farbe berücksichtigten Parameter
sind der Farbton, der Farbwert und der
Schwärzegrad. Beispiel: Cromie Fango
06 trägt die Bezeichnung NCS S 5005-
Y20R, wobei S das Muster Standard -

ce, das heißt den Ähnlichkeitsgrad zu
Schwarz (50%) und zum maximalen
Farbwert (5%) an; Y20R ist der Farbton
und zeigt die prozentuale Ähnlichkeit
der Farbe zu den zwei Grundfarben
gelb (Y=80%) und rot (R=20%) an. Fan-
go 06 weist daher die Schwärze 50%
und den Farbwert 5% auf und steht für
ein Gelb mit 20% Rot.

tanto, Fango 06 tiene negrura 50%,
cromaticidad 5% y es un amarillo con el
20% de rojo.
