La pulizia delle barrique con il vapore è un'efficace tecnica di sani

ficazione che elimina i residui di vino e le possibili

contaminazioni microbiche. Il vapore ad alta temperatura penetra nel legno, distruggendo i germi e ripristinando l'igiene

della barrique. Questo metodo rispetta l'integrità del legno, evitando l'uso di sostanze chimiche aggressive.

Biemmedue ha progettato il sistema Lavabarrique, una tecnologia che permette al vapore secco di penetrare attraverso

l'unico foro disponibile nella botte di rovere. Sfruttando la temperatura elevata del vapore sanifica le pareti interne.

system, a technology that allows dry steam to penetrate through the only available hole in the oak barrel. By exploiting the high

temperature of the steam, it sanitises the interior walls.
