Pao Portable Lamp

Developed as part of the Pao Lamp collection for HAY by

Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, the Pao Portable lamp

is a portable lamp inspired by the atmospheric glow of the

dome shaped Mongolian Pao tents at night. Concealing the

lighting source inside the shade, Fukasawa creates a compact

everyday object that harmonises with the environment it is

placed in.

The lamp’s beautiful simplicity combined with soft ambient

lighting create a warm, homely glow in gardens, cafés and

other outdoor and indoor spaces.
