La superficie cita l’omonima figura

mitologica, dea del mare, e traduce

sulla porcellana l’increspatura delle

onde mettendo in dialogo riferimenti

astratti ed effetti materici. La sensazione

di movimento data dalla lavorazio-

ne tridimensionale, mai uguale tra gli

elementi, è ulteriormente enfatizzata dalla

posa a spina: si crea così un’alternanza

di luci e ombre che valorizza il

materiale con un linguaggio prezioso.

Formato: elemento a parallelogramma

lato lungo 31.5 cm, lato corto 19.5 cm

A homage to this mythological figure,

goddess of the sea, the surface echoes

the rippling of the waves in porcelain, in a

juxtaposition of abstract and textural

references. A feeling of movement is

given by the three-dimensional texturing,

which is unique for each element, and

is further emphasised by a herringbone

layout: this creates an alternation of light

and shadow that enhances the material

with its own precious language.
