Il legno è un materiale straordinario, una risorsa che cresce

in abbondanza e capace di rinnovarsi naturalmente.

Il legno è leggero, resistente, arreda con calore e dona

una particolare sensazione di accoglienza in ogni ambiente,

soprattutto quello domestico.

Il legno riveste anche un ruolo fondamentale nella battaglia

per frenare il cambiamento climatico: se le foreste

contribuiscono a ridurre la quantità di anidride carbonica

presente nell’atmosfera, l’utilizzo di prodotti a base di legno

aiuta a mantenere legata l’anidride carbonica.

I prodotti in legno infatti immagazzinano il carbonio

inizialmente incorporato negli alberi e giocano un ruolo

importante nel prolungare la vita delle foreste,

aumentando il periodo durante il quale l’anidride carbonica

è tenuta al di fuori dell’atmosfera. Aumentare l’utilizzo del

legno è dunque un modo semplice per ridurre il cambiamento

climatico. ALI inoltre è da sempre impegnata a realizzare

parquets sicuri per gli utilizzatori e per l’ambiente.

Le materie prime vengono selezionate nel rispetto dei più ri-

gorosi requisiti internazionali, ricorrendo a foreste gestite in

modo responsabile secondo i criteri previsti sia dalla vigente

normativa europea sulla “due diligence” che dagli schemi

di certificazione volontari FSC e PEFC.

fica anche attenzione in ogni fase

del processo produttivo: per questo motivo la società

da sempre utilizza i residui legnosi provenienti dalle proprie

linee di produzione per generare tutta l’acqua calda

necessaria sia per usi tecnologici, ossia provvedere ad

alimentare le celle di essiccazione del legno, che per usi civili,

riscaldando sia gli ambienti produttivi che tutti gli u

ffici.

Una scelta impegnativa, che ha permesso all’azienda

di contribuire alla riduzione delle emissioni, evitando

di continuare a consumare risorse non rinnovabili.

Wood is light, resistant, warm and cozy, especially in case

of domestic use.

Wood is also long lasting: that’s why it has always been one

of the most important building materials.

Wood plays an extremely important role also in the battle

against climate changes: if forests contribute to reduce the

amount of carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere,

the use of wooden products helps to maintain

the carbon dioxide inside them. The wooden products keep

stored the carbon dioxide incorporated in trees and

play an important role to extend the life of forests,

prolonging the period in which carbon dioxide is kept

outside the atmosphere. An increase in the use of wood

is therefore an easy way to reduce climate changes.

Moreover ALI has always been committed with the creation

of wooden

floors safe both for users and environment.

Raw materials are selected following strict internationals

requirements, getting material from forests which are

managed in responsible manner, according both to the

current European standards on “due diligence” and to

the voluntary certification schedules FSC and PEFC.

Sustainability means also attention in each step of

production process: for this reason the company has

always been using the wood scraps coming out from

the production lines to produce warm water needed

for technological use, in other words to obtain

power supply for the drying cells and for civil use,

providing heating at the same time to production

sites and offices. A challenging choice which allowed

the reduction of emissions, avoiding

the consumption of non renewable resources.
