elegante, sobrio e materico, pronto a dialogare con contesti ricchi di storia.

Trespolo nasce con il pensiero ai “trispiti” siciliani del passato, i cavalletti

di ferro su cui poggiavano le tavole che fungevano da rete per il materasso.

Il letto integra nel suo disegno anche due comodini, grazie alla maggiore

lunghezza del profilo posto vicino alla testata.

Una ulteriore attenzione progettuale spicca nei punti di giuntura del

baldacchino, nascosti in un nodo intrecciato posto ai quattro angoli del

letto. La struttura del letto è realizzata in ferro quadro pieno da 25×25

millimetri, interamente battuto e forgiato a mano; i piedi sono schiacciati e

lavorati secondo la tradizione.

The hand-forged iron is left in its pure form, defining an elegant,

sober, and textural object, ready to engage with contexts rich in history.

Trespolo draws inspiration from the Sicilian “trispiti” of the past, with

iron trestles on which the boards rested, serving as a base for the

mattress. The bed design also integrates two bedside tables, thanks to

the extended length of the profile near the headboard.

Further design attention is distinct in the canopy joints, concealed within a

braided knot placed at the four corners of the bed. The bed frame is made

of solid square iron measuring 25×25 millimetres, entirely wrought and

forged by hand; the feet are flattened and crafted in a traditional manner.
