Questa applique nasce attingendo ai disegni del prezioso archivio storico di

Barovier&Toso rielaborati e riproposti con un design più moderno. Linee sobrie ed

eleganti, che vanno al di là delle mode. Ogni tazzina ospita al suo interno un “rostrato”,

piccolo gioiello di invenzione, che protegge alla vista la lampadina la cui luce si moltiplica

all’infinito, passando attraverso le cuspidi che sono l’essenza stessa del rostrato.

This wall sconce takes its cue from drawings conserved in the precious historical archives of

Barovier&Toso, reworked and reformulated with a more modern design. Simple, elegant lines

that transcend fashion. Each candle cup holds a little stroke of genius: a “rostrato”, a piece

of glass with extruded pointed tips, which hides the lamps from view. Their light is refracted

infinitely as it passes through the glass tips that are at the heart of the “rostrato” technique.
