Designing water features with Ceramica Vogue
Whether you are dealing with large public facilities or pools set in residential gardens,
designing a water feature is an art that creates dynamism and a considerable scenic
effect, becoming the focal point of any project.
Designing a pool requires high technical and performance standards. As such, it
involves a number of difficulties that are hard to find in other project areas, and
therefore requires a different and highly precise approach.
To combine the various components that will form the pool area, it is important to
fully understand all associated issues and dynamics: the fact that the pool tiling
is in constant contact with water, that the surfaces are wet most of the time, that
people need to be able to walk around barefoot, and the complex web of regulations
governing hygiene and safety.
Drawing on the vast experience of Ceramica Vogue in the production of white body
glazed stoneware, designers and architects may avail of the Vogue Pool system, a
high quality material reviewed and adapted to the specific technical and aesthetic
requirements of this type of project.
This is complemented by a wide range of special pieces specifically designed for
the pool environment, which, along with the traditional line of special pieces, allow
for the creation of safe and aesthetically appealing finishes. Finally, the Vogue Pool
series may be flanked by the entire range of Vogue tiles for the design of long-
lasting pool walls and floors with excellent technical qualities.
