Safety and anti-slip properties

Pursuant to specific regulatory requirements, the presence in swimming facilities

of wet surfaces and surfaces submerged in water makes it imperative to use a

floor material with anti-slip characteristics guaranteeing a high level of friction

between surfaces in contact with each other, thus avoiding accidental falls, while

also allowing ease of cleaning.

Germany has developed DIN regulations specifically targeted at ceramic products.

DIN 51097

R9

DIN 51097 applies to areas where people walk barefoot, while DIN 51130 applies

to areas where people walk with footwear.

Ceramica Vogue offers several surfaces that meet the in-force regulations in terms

of slip resistance, in particular the surface Flooring R10 B (A+B), the surface Grip

R11 C (A+B+C) and the textured surface Bump C (A+B+C).
