Cansiglio Forest

La foresta del Cansiglio, conosciuta anche come Grande Bosco da Reme della Repubblica

di Venezia, sorge sull'altipiano delle Prealpi Orientali, a cavallo fra le province di Treviso,

Belluno e Pordenone, incrocio di territori tra Veneto e Friuli-Venezia Giulia. La foresta,

che dista circa 25 chilometri dalla sede produttiva di ITLAS, ospita una delle più antiche

faggete autoctone d'Italia.

The Cansiglio Forest, also named the Grand Forest of Oars for the Republic of Venice,

lies on a plateau of the Eastern Prealps, straddling the provinces of Treviso, Belluno and

Pordenone, the junction of territories in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The forest is just

25 km from the ITLAS production facilities and is home to one of the oldest indigenous

beech woods in Italy.
