Once reserved for places of conviviality, stools have beco-

me an indispensable complement next to the snack tops of

contemporary kitchens. The projects of Emmanuel Gallina,

Jean-Marie Massaud, and Rodrigo Torres go in this direction,

redesigning the chairs Sophie, Ventura, and Harmony, wor-

king on the proportions and comfort of the seat, made more

complex by the verticality. Of the original models the stools

keep the name, as well as the enveloping shapes and attention
