The Great Wall, located in today’s China, is 8.850 km long, 350 km of which are dedicated

to the trenches and 2.250 km of natural defenses, with a total length of 21.196 km including

all its ramifications. In 1987, it was nominated heritage of the humanity by UNESCO and, in

2007, it was included in the Modern World’s Seven Wonders. Following the order of the First

Emperor of the Qin dynasty, in 215 b.C. the people of China started building the Wall. This

Emperor is the same one that has created the Xi’an Terracotta Army
