R. RAY è un elemento leggero, composto da due scocche con qualità materiche distinte
che racchiudono due sorgenti
fluorescenti. La scocca superiore può essere trasparente
per non compromettere il rendimento del
flusso emesso o opalina per controllare
l’abbagliamento con un’emissione comfort, la sua forma e l’angolazione delle sorgenti
al suo interno aiutano la luce indiretta a distribuirsi aprendosi ad illuminare un’ampia
area per un’ottima illuminazione indiretta. L’illuminazione diretta è invece controllata dalle
caratteristiche intrinseche del materiale opalino e dalla forma “ad onde” della scocca
inferiore.

R.RAY is a light element that plays with transparencies, different densities and opacities
of the materials to enable refined calibration of the light. Two quality chassis host two
fluorescent warm light sources. The upper chassis is transparent but the intensity is
moderated with a serigraphy that stops beyond the normal visual angle not to jeopardize
the beam output. The shape and the angle of the wings help the direct light spread on a
wide area ensuring a great amount of indirect illumination.
On the other hand, the direct illumination is modulated by the intrinsic features of
materials and “woven” shapes of the lower chassis that contribute to moderate the
perception of the two sources as clear and distinct fonts which change, depending on
the points of view. The light changes intensity with a gradual transition along the length
of the lamp fading and it concentrates in the centre line with a continuous light beam that
enlivens and characterizes the lamp. The shape is soft. Its section widens to follow the
light beam that focuses on the centre and accompanies the user’s perception, tapering
elegantly at the extremities, fusing with the light into the environment.
R.RAY ist ein leichtes Element, das aus nur zwei Schalen mit unterschiedlichen
Materialmerkmalen besteht, welche zwei Fluoreszenzlampen umschließen. Die obere
Schale ist entweder aus Klarglas erhältlich, damit die Abstrahlleistung in keiner Weise
beeinträchtigt wird, oder aus Milchglas, damit keine Blendung auftritt und größerer
Komfort geboten wird. Die Form und Winkelung der Lichtquellen im Innern erleichtern
es dem indirekten Licht, sich zu verteilen und ein breites Feld auszuleuchten, sodass
optimale indirekte Beleuchtung garantiert wird.
Die direkte Beleuchtung wird hingegen durch die dem Milchglas innewohnenden
Eigenschaften und die “Wellenform” der unteren Schale kontrolliert.
R.RAY kann mit unterschiedlichen Neigungswinkeln positioniert werden, um eine
weniger strenge Reihenfolge der einzelnen Beleuchtungskörper zu schaffen, um die
Verteilung des Lichtstrahls zu gestalten oder einfach um dem Raum eine persönliche
Note zu verleihen.
R.RAY può essere posizionata secondo diverse inclinazioni per creare sequenze meno
rigide di apparecchi, gestire la distribuzione del flusso o semplicemente per dare un
tocco più personale all’ambiente.
R.RAY est un élément l
éger, composé de deux coques de différentes matières contenant
deux sources fluorescentes. La coque supérieure peut être transparente pour ne pas
compromettre le rendement du flux émis ou opaline pour contrôler l’éblouissement avec
une émission confortable ; sa forme et l’angulation des sources à l’intérieur facilitent la
distribution de la lumière indirecte qui éclaire une large zone.
En revanche, l’éclairage direct est contrôlé par les caractéristiques intrinsèques du
matériau opalin et la forme “en vagues” de la coque inférieure.
R.RAY peut être positionné dans différentes inclinaisons pour créer des suites
d’appareils moins rigides, gérer la distribution du flux ou simplement donner une touche
plus personnelle au milieu.
