Molteni&C sitting round a table is a ritual, an everyday way of coming together. tables and chairs provide the beating heart of a home around which furniture and storage units, plus their contents, are arranged. chairs are awkward: they have to support bodyweight while taking size, movements and posture into account. it follows that not all items of furniture can match in shape or style because they have to satisfy a variety of uses.
