Lo strato esterno in PEX-b consente elevata resistenza

alla rottura ed offre grande e permanente protezione allo

strato di alluminio sottostante.Inoltre, la tubazione che

è

spesso sottoposta ad elevate sollecitazioni sia durante il

trasporto, sia durante l’installazione viene protetta dallo

strato esterno, dall’abrasione e dall’usura.

IMPERMEABILITA'

Il rivestimento metallico costituisce una perfetta barriera

al passaggio di molecole gassose: nessun pericolo di

corrosione dovuto all’infiltrazione di ossigeno.

Lo strato d’alluminio viene saldato di testa con il sistema

WIG: lo strato metallico non ha quindi la sola funzione di

rendere impermeabile la tubazione ma consente di

sopportare adeguatamente le sollecitazioni termiche e di

pressione, presenti soprattutto negli impianti sanitari.

TUBO PREISOLATO IN ROTOLI

Alcuni diametri di tubo WELCOFLEX in rotoli, vengono

anche forniti completi di isolamento.

Questo isolamento viene realizzato in polietilene di media

densit

à a celle chiuse, avente una conduttività termica

(certificata CSI) di 0,040 W/m°K con densit

à di 21,4

kg/m3.

L’indice d’impermeabilià dell’isolante (certificato CSI)

rilevato, ha un valore medio di μ = 11450 (rilevato su tre

provini) mentre la deviazione standard μ = 614.

L’isolante

è protetto da un film in polietilene a bassa

densit

à, resistente agli strappi. La classe di resistenza al

fuoco

è 1.

L’isolante non ha come unica funzione la coibenza

termica ma anche l’attenuazione della rumorosit

à, inoltre,

assorbe senza alcun danno gli allungamenti dovuti alla

dilatazione, ed

è quindi consigliabile nei casi in cui il tubo

viene inserito nella parete o sotto il pavimento.

installation) is protected from abrasion and wear by the

outer layer.

WATERPROOFING

The metal coating of the pipe is a perfect barrier to the

passage of gaseous molecules: that means no risk of

corrosion due to oxygen infiltration.

The aluminium layer is welded at the head with the WIG

system: the metal layer therefore not only serves to make

the pipe waterproof, but also to adequately withstand

thermal and pressure stresses, especially in sanitary

installations.

PRE-INSULATED PIPE IN ROLLS

Some diameters of WELCOFLEX pipe in rolls also come

complete with insulation.

This insulation is made of closed cell medium density

polyethylene with thermal conductivity (CSI certified) of

0.040 W/m°K with a density of 21.4 kg/m3.

The insulation impermeability index (CSI certificate)

detected has an average value of μ = 11450 (based on

three samples) while the standard deviation is μ = 614.

The insulation is protected by a tear-resistant, low-density

polyethylene film. The fire resistance class is 1.

The sole function of the insulation is not only thermal

insulation, but also the attenuation of noise; in addition, it

absorbs elongations due to expansion without damaging

the pipe, and is therefore advisable in cases where the pipe

is placed inside the wall or under the floor.
