L’Ingegner Stefano Donati consegue la Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Edile e Architettura nel 2002 presso

l’Università Politecnica delle Marche. Nel 2003 fonda l’omonimo studio professionale occupandosi in prevalenza

di restauri e ristrutturazioni. Le competenze acquisite nel settore lo portano ad ottenere la docenza a contratto

del corso di “Costruzioni edili” presso l’UNIVPM e ad ampliare le proprie esperienze professionali verso il mondo

delle costruzioni. Fra i restauri pi

ù importanti: il Torrione XV sec, il Complesso della Chiesa e del Convento dei

Servi di Maria di Montefano, il restauro di Palazzo Azzoni e delle relative cantine storiche. Particolarmente

importante è l’esperienza maturata nei restauri di Palazzo Leopardi, della casa natale del poeta Giacomo

Leopardi e della “casa di Silvia”, dove l’architettura si è dovuta cimentare con il rispetto per la memoria storica

e il dover passare alle generazioni future. Nel 2018, la rigenerazione urbana dei Giardini Morigi di Filottrano ha

vinto il Premio Città Verde come “miglior parco d’Italia”. Nel 2020 consegue l’abilitazione alla professione di

architetto. Con Stefano Donati collaborano da anni l’Ing. Michela Caporaletti, l’Ing. Chiara Teloni, il Geom. Mirko

Balestra e l’Ing. Alessandro Brunori.

Engineer Stefano Donati graduated in Construction Engineering and Architecture in 2002 from the Marche

Polytechnic University. In 2003, he founded his eponymous professional studio, dealing mainly with restorations

and renovations. The skills he acquired in the sector led him to become a contract lecturer of the “Building works”

course at UNIVPM and to broaden his professional experience towards the world of construction. His most

important restorations include: the 15th-century Torrione, the Church and Convent Complex of the Servi di Maria

di Montefano, the restoration of Palazzo Azzoni and its historic cellars. Particularly important is the experience

gained in the restoration of Palazzo Leopardi, the house where the poet Giacomo Leopardi was born, and “Silvia’s

house”, where architecture had to contend with respect for historical memory and the need to pass it on to future

generations. In 2018, the urban regeneration of the Morigi Gardens in Filottrano won the Green City Award as

“best park in Italy”. In 2020, he registered as an architect. Working with Stefano Donati for many years are the

engineers Michela Caporaletti, Chiara Teloni, the surveyor Mirko Balestra and the engineer Alessandro Brunori.
