Progetto di ristrutturazione e ampliamento di una residenza

unifamiliare sulle meravigliose colline umbre. Ci si trovava di

fronte ad una preesistenza costruita negli anni ’70, di scarso

valore architettonico. L’edificio, di cui si è conservata solo la

volumetria, è stato completamente ricostruito ed ampliato

con una zona giorno posta in basso lungo un declivio naturale

dell’area d’intervento. Quest’ultima, attraverso un panoramico

bow window angolare ed una passerella, si apre in aggetto

verso il monte Subasio. La zona notte è situata al primo

livello rispetto alla zona giorno, ma al piano terra rispetto alla

quota di accesso all’area. I diversi materiali impiegati per il

rivestimento della facciata, individuano le due zone: superficie

intonacata nella zona notte e pietra ricostruita Pietre d’Arredo,

collezione Sakar, nella zona giorno. Il tema della scala interna

di collegamento tra i due livelli ha destato un particolare

interesse progettuale per i progettisti, cimentatisi nella

realizzazione di un oggetto di carpenteria realizzato su misura

per il committente. In generale, anche l’arredamento interno

è stato quasi interamente progettato e realizzato su misura.

La progettazione dei giardini e del verde avvolge in un vortice

sinuoso l’edificio, creando dei terrazzamenti lungo il declivio

verso valle. Categoria energetica del progetto: classe A+.

Renovation and extension project for a single-family residence

in the beautiful Umbrian hills. The project started with a pre-

existing building dating to the 1970s, of little architectural

value. The building, of which only the usable building volume

has been preserved, has been completely rebuilt and extended

with a living area placed down along a natural slope of the

intervention area. The latter, through a panoramic corner bow

window and a walkway, opens up in overhang towards Mount

Subasio. The sleeping area is located on the first level with

respect to the living area, but on the ground floor with respect

to the level of access. The different materials used for the

façade cladding identify the two areas: a plastered surface in

the sleeping area and reconstructed stone of Pietre d’Arredo,

Sakar collection, in the living area. The theme of the internal

staircase linking the two levels was of particular interest for

the designers, who ventured into the realisation of a custom-

made carpentry object for the client. In general, the interior

design was also almost entirely custom-made. The design

of the gardens and greenery wraps the building in a sinuous

vortex, creating terraces along the slope towards the valley.
