PROGETTO - PROJECT: Ai piedi di Assisi - Below Assisi

L’ispirazione della pianta greca di Gabriele e Sabrina nasce da

un viaggio fra la committenza e lo studio di progettazione. Il

percorso compiuto ha variato la natura della casa tradizionale

proiettandolo verso la realizzazione in legno. Le sinergie tra

cliente e progettista sono state cuore ed anima del progetto.

La sua realizzazione ad oggi è stato un lungo cammino in cui

le persone si sono incontrate ed insieme stanno terminando

il percorso. La casa situata ai piedi di Assisi gode di una

splendida visuale e della naturale tranquillità del suo contesto.

Il suo piano terra a “L” trova nella scala in ferro il cuore del

progetto che permette l’accesso alla parte segreta della torre

denominata “Sublimatoio”, da dove si accede alla terrazza

che regala una vista da cartolina e un’evasione dal mondo.

Per i rivestimenti delle pareti esterne è stata scelta la pietra

ricostruita Pietre d’Arredo, collezione Arenal: un elemento

che con le sue forme irregolari e le superfici strutturate,

impreziosite da spacchi e sfumature cromatiche, ricordano in

ogni dettaglio gli elementi naturali, fondendosi perfettamente

con il contesto.

The inspiration for Gabriele and Sabrina’s greek space came

from a journey between the client and the design studio. The

path taken has changed the nature of the traditional house

by projecting it towards timber construction. The synergies

between client and designer were the heart and soul of the

project. Its realisation to date has been a long journey in which

people have met and have walked together towards the end

of the journey. The house located at the foot of Assisi enjoys

a splendid view and the natural tranquillity of its surroundings.

The iron staircase is the beating heart of its “L”-shaped ground

floor: it grants access to the secret part of the tower known

as the “Sublimatoio”, from where one accesses the terrace

that offers a postcard-perfect view and an escape from the

world. Pietre d’Arredo reconstructed stone, specifically the

Arenal collection, was chosen for the external wall cladding: an

element that, with its irregular shapes and structured surfaces,

embellished with splits and colour nuances, is reminiscent of

natural elements in every detail, blending perfectly with its

surroundings.
