Leak detector system for double-skin tanks designed for flammable liquid storage, consisting of
electronic control unit with visual (LED) and acoustic alarm indicator and additional output contact,
anti-static tank for leak detector fluid that can be installed in hazard zones and intrinsic safety probe.
Power supply 230 V, 50 Hz.
Maximum probe connection distance 50m with shielded cable. Suitable for in-ground tanks with a
capacity of up to approximately 60,000 litres and for above-ground tanks with a capacity of up to
approximately 20,000 litres.
To fit the detector system, use the complete set of LAGMS Series accessories.
Compliant with Directives LVD 2014/35/EU - EMC 2014/30/EU - ATEX 2014/34/EU. ATEX
classification: G EEx ia IIC / EEx ia IIB.

TECHNICAL NOTE - Leak detector operation
The LAG 14 ER Series leak detector monitors the intermediate chamber (control chamber) of the tank, filled with detector fluid, and detects any
leakage onto the inner or outer skin. The device consists of an indicator device (electronic control unit) capable of triggering a visual and acoustic
alarm, and an indicator fluid tank with transducer (probe) connected to the tank's control chamber by a pipe.
Must be used exclusively with the same type of fluid as stored in the control chamber of the main tank. The fluid must be BAM-certified.
Examples of suitable BAM certified fluids:
