Doppia personalità. Andon è una lampada,

ma anche un tavolino, da interpretare a seconda

del momento e del luogo. Il designer Nendo qui

rende occidentale il concetto giapponese di

raccogliersi per terra, intorno alla luce. In versione

tonda oppure quadrata, ha top in pietra lavica

nera smaltata o pietra pece bianca e una sottile

pergamena impermeabile che crea un magico

riverbero.

Andon has a dual personality with its lamp

and small table that can be used at different

moments in different areas. The designer Nendo

takes the Japanese tradition of sleeping on the

floor and adapts it to Western customs via the light.

Available in a round or square version, the tabletop

is in glazed black lava stone or white pietra pece

and includes a thin waterproof parchment that

creates a magical reflection.
