tnership between Mirage and

Nerosicilia, an authentic de-

sign maison, a creative labo-

ratory that is much more than a simple

production site: it is a thinker of matter,

a designer who does not design on paper,

but directly on stone. A collective of arti-

sts, artisans and designers who for years

have creatively explored the expressive

potential of Sicilian stones, transforming

them into surfaces that speak the langua-

ge of contemporary design.

Here, processing is never mere execution,

but a conscious design act. Every engra-

ving, every nuance, every volume arises

from a dialogue between thought and ge-

sture, between technique and intuition. The

stone is not simply cut and worked: it is

interpreted, listened to and taken beyond

its structural function to become surface,

story and, ultimately, expressiveness.

duzione: è un pensatore della materia,

un designer che non progetta su carta,

ma direttamente sulla pietra. Un colletti-

vo di artisti, artigiani e progettisti che da

anni esplora creativamente le potenzialità

espressive delle pietre siciliane, trasfor-

mandole in superfici che parlano il lin-

guaggio del design contemporaneo.

Qui, la lavorazione non è mai semplice

esecuzione, ma un atto progettuale con-

sapevole. Ogni incisione, ogni sfumatura,

ogni volume nasce da un dialogo tra pen-

siero e gesto, tra tecnica e intuizione. La

pietra non viene solo tagliata e semplice-

mente lavorata: viene interpretata, ascol-

tata e portata oltre la sua funzione strut-

turale per diventare super

ficie, racconto e
