1.

Determine the exact position of the heat interface unit in order

to mount the fix rail below it. For the dimensions of the unit

Ä Chapter 16.3 ‘Installation dimensions and weights’

on page 65.

Hold the fix rail in position at the installation location and use a

spirit level to ensure that the fix rail is aligned horizontally and

vertically.

Close the ball valves.

5.3 Mounting the heat interface unit

n Insulating material

Use the designated points (Fig. 23/1) to bolt on the fix rail in the

installation location.

n Means of bolting

1.

Lift the heat interface unit to the installation location using two

persons.

2.

Hold the heat interface unit in position at the installation loca-

tion and use a spirit level to ensure that the heat interface unit

is aligned horizontally and vertically.

3.

Mark the points for the bolted connection on the base plate and

the installation location.

4.

Decouple the base plate using suitable insulating material.
