Oltre al controllo del sottofondo come descritto nel capitolo 1, la scelta dell’ adesivo è in funzione del tipo di supporto, la dimensione della lastra e il luogo di posa.
La norma UNI EN 12004 mostra come per le piastrelle con lato pari o superiore ai 60 cm sia necessario utilizzare un adesivo di classe C2, con classe di deformabilità
S1 in caso la piastrella abbia un lato pari o inferiore a 120cm, e con classe S2 se maggiore di 120cm.
In funzione della temperatura invece è possibile utilizzare adesivi classificati “E” (tempo aperto allungato) in caso di climi caldi o ambienti ventilati, oppure adesivi
classificati “F” (presa rapida) in caso di ambienti freddi.
Durante la posa a rivestimento è consigliato l’utilizzo di adesivi con scivolamento verticale limitato classe “T”.
Per le piastrelle con lato uguale o superiore ai 60cm è necessario utilizzare la tecnica della doppia spalmatura per garantire il “letto pieno” tra supporto e piastrella.

For tiles with sides equal to or bigger than 60cm is it is necessary to use the double thinnest coverage technique for guarantee no air between support and tile.

La stesura dell’adesivo sul supporto deve avere la stessa direzione
dell’adesivo sulla lastra.

Distribuire i livellatori e battere manualmente la lastra tramite
l’apposito frattazzo “BATTIPIASTRELLE” per garantire la completa
fuoriuscita dell’aria, partendo dal centro verso i lati nella stessa
direzione della spalmatura.
Distribute the levelers and manually hammer the tile using the
special “BEAT TILE TROWEL” to ensure complete discharge of air,
starting from the center to the sides in the same direction of the
thinset.
Utilizzare il “MOVE” per regolare eventuali differenze di fuga fra le
lastre.

Mettere in tensione i livellatori e rimuoverli solo dopo la completa
essiccazione dell’adesivo.
Tighten the levellers and remove them only after the adhesive has
completely cured or set.
