EDGE PROFILING OF TILES

TIPI DI TAGLIO:

Durante la lavorazione di una lastra ci troveremo davanti a svariate lavorazioni, fra cui tagli lineari, tagli ad “L” , fori rettangolari ecc.

I tagli si possono effettuare tramite:

- Taglio segato (ottenuto tramite KERA-FLEX o manualmente)

- Taglio Incisone/spacco (ottenuto tramite KERA-CUT)

Per ogni lavorazione ci possono essere molteplici soluzioni, e sta all’operatore scegliere quale utilizzare, ecco alcuni esempi.

TYPES OF CUTTING:

During the processing of the tiles we will be in front of various processes, including linear cuts, “L” cuts, rectangular holes etc.

The cuts can be done thanks:

- Sawn cut (obtained through KERA-FLEX or manually)

- score / snap cut (obtained through KERA-CUT)

For every processing there can be many solutions, e it is up to the operator to choose which operator, here are some examples.

Per motivi estetici o funzionali può essere richiesta la realizzazione di profilature dei bordi come jolly, biselli o mezzi tori (becco di civetta).

Questi sono facilmente realizzabili con le macchine Sigma JOLLY-EDGE o SIMPLE-BEVEL che scivolando in appoggio sul bordo della lastra garantiscono l’uniformità

del taglio / smusso su tutta la sua lunghezza (anche se quest’ ultima è leggermente curva), grazie all’attacco di aspirazione non generano polvere (simbolo no dust).

For aesthetic or functional reasons, you can achieve finishes such as miter, bevels or half bullnose.

These are easily achievable with the Sigma machines JOLLY-EDGE or SIMPLE-BEVEL that slides along on the edge of the tile and guarantee the uniformity of the

cut / bevel along its entire length (even if this last is slightly curved), by to the vacuum cleaner pipe they do not generate dust.

Nel caso in cui si debba realizzare una forma ad “U” della lastra si può procedere:

Nel caso in cui si debba realizzare una un’apertura quadrata nella lastra si pu

ò procedere:

In case of realizing a rectangular pocket on the tile is to be made, proceed as follows:

1° Foro / Hole

Per le corrette esecuzioni delle lavorazioni di profilatura, posiziona-

re la lastra sul BANCO DA LAVORO Sigma e bloccarla con gli appositi

morsetti facendola sporgere 1/2 cm dal bordo del banco.

For the correct execution of the edge profiling, place the tile on the

Sigma WORKBENCH and fix it with the special clamps making it

protrude 1/2 cm from the edge of the bench.

Per realizzare un mezzo toro, muovere la macchina JOLLY-EDGE (in

configurazione “toro” con mola sagomata) da sinistra verso destra,

tenendola ben premuta sul bordo della lastra.

For the half bullnosing, move the machine JOLLY-EDGE (in “bullno-

se” configuration with the shaped grinding wheel) from left to right,

keeping it well pressed on the edge of the tile.

Per realizzare un Jolly, muovere la macchina JOLLY-EDGE (in confi-

gurazione di taglio) da destra verso sinistra, tenendola ben premuta

sul bordo della lastra. Può lavorare spessori dai 5 ai 20 mm.

Spessore 5/7 mm con disco corona continua.

Spessore 8/20 mm con disco turbo.

For the mitering, move the machine JOLLY-EDGE (in cutting confi-

guration) from right to the left, keeping it well pressed on the edge

of the tile. It can work thicknesses from 5 to 20 mm.

Thickness 5/7 mm with continuous crown disk.

8/20 mm thickness with turbo disc.

Per realizzare biselli/Jolly su spessori 3,5 mm, muovere la macchina

SIMPLE-BEVEL lateralmente, tenendola ben premuta sul bordo

della lastra. E’ possibile effettuare più passaggi a profondità e/o

angoli differenti.

To achieve bevels / miters on 3.5 mm thicknesses, move the

SIMPLE-BEVEL machine sideways, keeping it well pressed on the

edge of the tile. It is possible to carry out several steps a depth and

/ or different angles.
