CERTIFICAZIONE

I motori antideflagranti e a sicurezza aumentata devono essere

approvati da un organismo notificato dalla commissione euro-

pea secondo i criteri definiti dalla stessa direttiva ATEX. I motori

sono classificati in funzione dell’atmosfera pericolosa che è pre-

sente nel luogo di installazione. La scelta del tipo di protezio-

ne del motore deve avvenire in base alla zona d’installazione.

La pericolosità della zona è determinata dal tipo di atmosfera

presente. È responsabilità dell’utilizzatore determinare il tipo

di protezione, il gruppo di custodia e la massima temperatura

superficiale del motore da installare. L’utilizzatore ha inoltre la

responsabilità della corretta istallazione, del collegamento alla

rete, dell’uso e della manutenzione del motore. I certificati di

conformità alle norme CENELEC sono validi in tutti i paesi fa-

centi parte dell’Unione Europea e delle nazioni appartenenti al

CENELEC. Sono membri del CENELEC i comitati elettrotecnici

delle seguenti nazioni: Austria, Belgio, Danimarca, Finlandia,

Francia, Germania, Grecia, Irlanda, Italia, Lussemburgo, Norve-

gia, Olanda, Portogallo, Regno Unito, Spagna, Svezia e Svizzera.

CENNI SULLA CERTIFICAZIONE IECEX

Questa certificazione, in vigore da alcuni anni in diversi paesi del

mondo, come USA, Australia, Regno Unito, Cina, India, Brasile,

ecc. facilita la commercializzazione delle apparecchiature, elimi-

nando la necessità di duplicare certificati e prove previste dai

paesi aderenti. È importante sottolineare come il sistema IECEx

richieda la certificazione dei prodotti (ExTR, CoC), delle aziende

QAR, dei riparatori e della competenza delle persone (CoPC),

che sono requisiti basilari per la progettazione, realizzazione e

manutenzione di impianti.

Sono applicate le norme IEC (gas e polveri) per le apparecchia-

ture (60079-x) e per gli impianti; queste norme prevedono im-

portanti modifiche sia per le apparecchiature (marcatura EPL)

CERTIFICATION

Explosion-proof and increased safety motors must be appro-

ved by a European Commission notified body according to the

criteria defined by the ATEX Directive. The motors are classified

according to the hazardous atmosphere present at the place of

installation. The choice of the type of motor protection should

be made according to the installation zone. The danger level

of a zone is determined by the type of atmosphere present in

the zone. It is the user’s responsibility to determine the type

of protection, the group of custody and the maximum surface

temperature of the device to be installed. The user also has the

responsibility for proper installation, connection to the network,

the use and maintenance of the device. Certificates of complian-

ce with the CENELEC standards are valid in all countries out-

side the European Union and nations belonging to CENELEC.

CENELEC members are the electro-technical committees of the

following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Fran-

ce, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands,

Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden and Swit-

zerland.

OUTLINES ON IECEX CERTIFICATION

This certification, in force for some years in different countries

of the world, such as USA, Australia, UK, China, India, Brazil,

etc.. facilitates the sale of equipment, eliminating the need for

duplicate certificates and evidence provided by the acceding

countries. It is important to emphasize that the system requires

IECEx certification of products (EXTR, CoC), the QAR compa-

nies, repairers and the competence of persons (COPC), which

are basic requirements for the design, construction and main-

tenance of facilities. The IEC standard (gas and dust) for equi-

pment (60079-x) and for plants are applied; These rules bring

significant changes to both the equipment (marking EPL) and
