REQUISITI E STANDARD PER LA MARCATURA IECEX
Lo schema IECEx si applica esclusivamente a prodotti elettrici
e la conformità allo schema viene valutata attraverso le norme
IEC emesse dal CT31, il comitato tecnico IEC che si occupa di
redigere e definire le norme internazionali per i prodotti Ex.

Le norme tecniche di riferimento sono la serie IEC 60079 relati-
va alle apparecchiature elettriche destinate ad atmosfere poten-
zialmente esplosive per gas infiammabili e polveri combustibili.
Una volta che il prodotto è conforme allo/agli standard applica-
bili, dovrà essere marcato secondo quanto riportato nella norma
IEC 60079-0.

The IECEx scheme applies only to electric devices. The com-
pliance to the scheme is evaluated on the basis of the IEC stan-
dards issued by CT31, the IEC Technical Committee in charge
of drafting and defining the international standards for the Ex

products. The technical reference standards are the IEC 60079
relative to electrical equipments designed for potentially explosi-
ve atmospheres due to flammable gases and combustible dusts.
Once the product is in conformity with the applicable standards,
it must be marked as indicated in the IEC 60079-0 standard.
