WARNING!

If tapping takes place during disinfection, this

results in exposure to an increased protective tem-

perature which could cause scalding depending on

the disinfection temperature.

Function

If activation occurs via the time program LEG05 THM.DISINF.TIMEPRO-

GRAM or is effected manually, thermal disinfection is carried out.

The domestic hot water is heated to the setpoint temperature LEG01

TEMP TERM. DISINFECTION and is maintained at the chosen sensor for

the LEG02 HOLD TIME TEMP. THE.DIS. The circulation pump is active

during the protective function.

In order to reach the required setpoint temperature at the reference

sensor, the setpoint at TWW is boosted. The value for the charging

boost LEG03 TEMP.RISE TSET THM.DIS can be adjusted. The circulation

sensor TBZ serves as the reference sensor for reaching the protective

temperature.

If there is insufficient heat available on the primary side, the setpoint

for the domestic hot water temperature is reduced to the highest

possible value. The protective function is not cancelled until the

time STE12 MAXIMUM WARM-UP PHASE has elapsed. This is to enable

reheating on the primary side. If the time slot for disinfection is still

available, disinfection is continued once the time STE13 WAITING TIME

REHEATING has elapsed. The hold time is reached if all time periods

with Tset reached together correspond to the defined value.

Disinfection is cancelled if the hold time was not reached within the

specified time slot or, with regard to manual start-up, 4 h after the

maximum runtime for manual disinfection.

If thermal disinfection was carried out successfully,

this is indicated by the date under STA03 INFO

THM.DISINFECTION. If it was not possible to carry out

thermal disinfection successfully, i.e. the setpoint

temperature LEG01 TEMP TERM. DISINFECTION was not

reached or not maintained for the defined time LEG02

HOLD TIME TEMP. THE.DIS, notification is given in the

form of "INFO 54". This notification remains in place

until the next successful thermal disinfection or until

a reset.
