Commissioning the cascade

Operating mode

If a station is to be used in a cascade, the value KAS01 OPERATING

MODE STATION needs to be set.

n 0: Standalone

n 1: Slave (subordinate station in the cascade)

n 2: Master (main controller in the cascade)

Specifying the eBus address

Assigning the eBUS address to a sta-

tion

Each station needs to be assigned a unique number under KOM04

EBUS AD-DRESS. Any numbers between 2 and 16 can be chosen.

The assigned eBus addresses in adjusters STN1

...5 EBUS MASTER

NUMBER need to be saved in the controller of the master station.

No more than 5 stations can therefore be combined in a cascade.

Example:

One device in the cascade must be set to 2. The

other devices are set to 1.

Specification of the eBus address is queried in the

commissioning program.

1st station (Master)

STN eBUS MASTER NUMBER = 2

2nd station (Slave 1)

STN eBUS MASTER NUMBER = 3

3rd station (Slave 2)

STN eBUS MASTER NUMBER = 4

4th station (no station)
