Sequential changeover
Central/decentralised circulation pump
A sequential changeover occurs at midnight each day which ensures
equal usage of the stations. With regard to the changeover, the
sequence of the connection of stations is changed in each case. The
changeover occurs as soon as no further tapping is taking place. With
regard to continuous tapping, the changeover occurs no later than 2
am. Example of the connection for increasing tapping with 3 stations:
1st station 1, 2nd station 2, 3rd station 3 ® Changeover: 1st station
2, 2nd station 3, 3rd station 1.
Circulation functions can be used centrally or locally. This is defined
with the adjuster KAS07 CIRC.PUMP CAS. CENTRAL.
n 0: Decentralised circulation pump (at each station)
The circulation pump is integrated in one or more stations. Set-
tings for circulation and thermal disinfection are made at the
stations with an integrated pump.
n 1: Central circulation pump (at the master).
The circulation pump is installed outside of the stations and is
connected to the master station. Settings for circulation and
thermal disinfection are only made at the master station.
The circulation pump is connected to the master station. All settings
for circulation mode and thermal disinfection are made at the master
for the entire cascade.
n 0: Decentralised circulation pump (at each station)
The circulation pump is integrated in one or more stations. Set-
tings for circulation and thermal disinfection are made at the
stations with an integrated pump.
n 1: Central circulation pump (at the master).
The circulation pump is installed outside of the stations and is
connected to the master station. Settings for circulation and
thermal disinfection are only made at the master station.
Calibration must be carried out once at the master (manually: ZIR06
= 1). The calibrated flow rate that is determined is transmitted to the
slaves automatically (necessary for sequential changeover).
The return flow switch can be activated and connected locally on
every device or centrally on one device in the cascade. No further
settings are to be observed in this regard. With regard to central use,
the return sensor also needs to be positioned at the collective return.

With regard to cascades with sequential change-
over, the automatic calibration mode (ZIR06 = 2)
results in error messages and is not recommended
for this reason.
