Ogni angolo di Villa Ostuni si apre all’esterno con

finestre e

ampie vetrate. Quasi un’assenza di limite tra indoor e outdoor,

che rende il paesaggio protagonista del progetto in ogn

i

sguardo e crea un’armonia palpabile con la natura circostante.

Anche la piscina di 40 metri quadrati si estende più in lungo

che in largo, come a protendersi tra i filari di ulivi e i muretti

a

secco che segnano i confini tra le proprietà. Un legame con i

l

luogo forte e costante che però non si esaurisce nella location.

Sono i materiali utilizzati a parlare di tradizione e italianità, mescolando

con attenzione elementi del territorio e soluzioni di design innovative

.

Così il marmo e la pietra leccese convivono con le ceramiche in gres

porcellanato del pavimento, con un pattern inciso e disegnato a man

o

che conferisce alle superfici un aspetto unico. Oppure i muri in pietra e i

l

soffitto a volta della zona living accolgono arredi con linee essenziali

e

volumi importanti, dal sapore decisamente più nordico. Come anche le

sedie della cucina, ricavata direttamente in veranda e con una rilassante

vista sul cortile. Le tinte restano quasi ovunque neutre: bianco assoluto

oppure colori sobri declinati eccezionalmente sulle tonalità della natura

.

È il caso dell’accento giallo nei parasole sulla terrazza a bordo piscina,

oppure delle cementine verde oliva che decorano il bagno padronale.

THE LANDSCAP

Every corner of Villa Ostuni opens up to the outdoors through the expansive

windows. Almost an absence of any boundary between the indoors

and outdoors renders the landscape the protagonist of the project at

every glance, creating a palpable harmony with the surrounding nature.

Even the 40-square-metre swimming pool is quite long and narrow, as

if stretching between the rows of olive trees and the dry-stone walls that

mark the boundaries between the properties. A strong and constant

connection with the area that does not end within the location itself.

Even the materials used speak of Italian tradition and character, carefully

blending local elements and innovative design solutions. Thus, marble

and Lecce stone coexist with porcelain

floor tiles, with a pattern engraved

and designed by hand that gives the surfaces a unique appearance.

Then there are the stone walls and vaulted ceiling in the living area

embellished with furniture bearing simple lines and good volume, with

a decidedly more Nordic flavour. This is also the case for the chairs

in the kitchen, set directly into the veranda and with a relaxing view

of the courtyard. Almost everywhere, the colours remain pretty neutra

l

in absolute white or exceptionally sober natural tones. This is likewise

the case with the yellow accent on the sunshades around the poolside

terrace or the olive-green cement tiles lining the master bathroom

.
