4 The application of a magnetic

scale remover filter

The removal of the Magnetite especially on a dated

plant, with components in carbon steel (iron), can be

solved with the application of a filter with magnetic

action, always combined with a suitable chemical tre-

atment of both dirt removal and anticorrosive preven-

tion. In this regard, an analysis of the planting wa-

ter is required as prescribed by the UNI Standards

8065:2019, 8364:2007 and the DM 26/15 to determi-

ne both the degree of anticorrosive protection and the

presence of iron.
