ALUBOND-R

Nastro sigillante autoadesivo costituito da un

compound in gomma butilica, protetto da un film in

alluminio rinforzato con rete sintetica, che garanti-

sce un’elevata facilità di strappo a mano, sempre

perpendicolare alla direzione di svolgimento del

nastro. Altamente adesivo anche a basse tempe-

rature, ALUBOND-R è stato progettato e svilup-

pato per essere applicato come barriera al vapore

nell’industria HVAC (riscaldamento, ventilazione e

condizionamento dell’aria).

MODO D’USO: Srotolare il prodotto fino alla lun-

ghezza desiderata. Rimuovere il release che ricopre

la parte adesiva, mettere il nastro in posizione e

pressarlo con rullo o manualmente con un panno al

fine di evitare la formazione di bolle d’aria. In caso

di giunzione tra due nastri, si consiglia un sormonto

di almeno 20 mm.

Self-adhesive sealing tape made of a butyl rubber

compound, protected by a reinforced aluminium film

with synthetic mesh, which makes it easy to tear by

hand, always perpendicular to the direction of the

tape. Highly adhesive even at low temperatures,

ALUBOND-R was designed and developed

to be applied as a barrier for HVAC (heating,

ventilation and air conditioning) industry vapours.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Unroll the product to

the desired length. Remove the release covering the

sticky side, put the tape in place and press it with

a roller or your hand, with a cloth, to prevent the

formation of air bubbles. In case you need to join two

tapes, overlap them by at least 20 mm.

MODO D’USO: Togliere la striscia di separazione ed allungare

il nastro finché la sua larghezza si riduce di 1/3 o 1/2. Tenere

il nastro sotto leggera tensione ed iniziare la spiralatura, man-

tendo una sovrapposizione delle spire pari al 50% della spira

precedente al fine di ottenere lo spessore desiderato. L’altro

grado di allungamento previene la formazione di sacche d’aria

ed assicura la rapida amalgamabilità.

Suitable to joint and repair a wide range of system and power

cables (up to 46 kv). Post and telephone companies use it

together with the PVC bands to seal polyethylene coupling slee-

ves of both overhead and underground telephone cables. It can

also be used on metal pipes as a corrosion proofing protection.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Remove the separation stripe and

stretch the tape until its width is reduced to 2/3 or 1/2. Keep

stretching the tape lightly and wind it up overlapping 50% two

following turns, until you obtain the requested thickness. The

high stretch degree prevents from air pocket formation and

ensures a ra-pid amalgamation.
