CUTTING AND DRILLING OF TILES

Per la movimentazione delle lastre di grande formato è necessaria la presenza di più operatori (almeno 2), l’utilizzo di una strumentazione apposita e dei dispositivi

di sicurezza:

sia nella fase d’estrazione dall’imballo che durante le fasi di lavorazione e di installazione.

Questo perché lastre di grande formato possono deformarsi e rompersi se sollevate o spostate in modo non corretto.

L’ attrezzatura consigliata per la movimentazione è il “KERA-LIFT” ( certificato CE ), telaio in alluminio modulabile che grazie alle sue ventose permette di maneggiare

in sicurezza le lastre.

For the handling of large format tiles it is necessary to have at least two operators to use the specific tools.

Wear the personal protective equipment:

both in the extraction phase from the packaging and during the processing and installation phases.

This is because large format tiles can become deformed and break if raised or moved incorrectly.

The recommended equipment for handling is the “KERA-LIFT” (certified CE), modular aluminium frame that is fitted with powerful suction cups making it possible to

handle the slabs safely.

Per la corretta riuscita di tagli lineari è necessario supportare la lastra con un piano di lavoro solido come il BANCO DA LAVORO Sigma.

For the correct success of linear cuts it is necessary to support the tile with a solid worktop like the Sigma WORKBENCH .

For work safely, use the personal protective equipment

TAGLIO : INCISIONE / SPACCO

Per i tagli lineari: incisione/spacco utilizzare la guida di taglio KERA-CUT.

CUTTING: SCORING / SNAPPING

For linear cuts: scoring / snapping use the KERA-CUT cutting rail.

Posizionare la lastra sul banco da lavoro.

Place the tile on the workbench.

Bloccare la guida sulla lastra con le ventose.

Fix the cutting rail on the tile clamping the suction cups.

Per lo spacco della lastra è sufficiente portare la linea

d’incisione sul bordo del tavolo per poi effettuare lo

spacco con le apposite pinze troncatrici.

For snapping the tile you simply move the scored line to

the edge of the table, then snap the tile with the

appropriate nipper.

Segnare con una matita dove dovrà venire il taglio da

ambo i lati della lastra.

Mark with a pencil where the cut should come on both

sides of the tile.

Prima di sollevare la lastra, quest’ultima necessita di

essere pulita.

Before lifting the tile, it needs to be clean.

Adattare il telaio alla lastra e distribuire le ventose in

maniera omogenea, mettere in depressione le ventose,

posizionando i piedi in gomma fuori dalla lastra.

Adapt the frame to the tile and distribute the suction

cups evenly, applying firm pressure downwards whilst

closing the cup. Place the rubber feet out of the tile.

Sollevare la lastra.

Lift the tile.

Trasportare la lastra

(con KIT CARRELLO se disponibile).

Transport the tile

(with CARRIAGE KIT if available).

Incidere per 3/4cm indietro l’estremità della lastra dall’interno

verso l’esterno, successivamente inciderla per tutta la lunghezza

mantenendo la pressione di spinta costante.

Score the end of the tile 3/ 4cm back from the inside to outside,

then score it along its entire length while maintaining a constant

pressure.

Nel caso in cui sia stato eseguito un taglio o una lavorazione sulla

lastra adattare il telaio in modo da seguire il più possibile la nuova

geometria.

In case a cut or a processing has been made on the tile adapt the

frame so follow the new geometry as much as possible.

Completare lo spacco premendo delicatamente verso il

basso.

Complete the snap by pressing gently downwards.
