Lavorazioni e trasformazioni

Grazie al loro spessore, alle loro caratteristiche tecniche e alle loro dimensioni, le lastre

Supreme® si prestano ad essere lavorate e trasformate per ottenere pezzi speciali o

superfici atte a rivestire altri manufatti. Le diverse lavorazioni possono essere effettuate

direttamente in cantiere, per progetti singoli e necessità contingenti, oppure prima della

posa, affidando l’attività ad aziende tecniche specializzate.

Cutting to size on site

Shaping and transformation

Thanks to their thickness, technical characteristics and size, Supreme® slabs are ideal

for shaping and transformation to create trim tiles or surfaces for cladding other items.

These operations can be carried out directly on site for individual projects or contingent

needs, or before installation, by specialist technical firms.

Bearbeitungen und Umwandlungen

Dank ihrer Dicke, ihrer technischen Eigenschaften und ihrer Dimensionen eignen sich die

Platten Supreme® für die Bear-beitung und Umwandlung, um Spezialteile zu fertigen oder

Oberflächen für die Verkleidung anderer Fabrikate zu er-zielen.

Die verschiedenen Bearbeitungen können bei Einzelprojekten bzw. nebensächlichen

Bedarfsfällen direkt auf der Baustelle erfolgen, oder vor der Verlegung, wobei die Arbeit

spezialisierten technischen Unternehmen anzuvertrauen ist.

Grâce à leur épaisseur, à leurs caractéristiques techniques et à leurs dimensions, les dalles

Supreme® se prêtent à toutes les opérations de coupe et autres pour obtenir des pièces

spéciales ou des surfaces permettant le revêtement d’autres matériaux.

Les différentes opérations peuvent être réalisées directement sur le chantier, pour des

projets et des besoins spécifiques, ou bien avant la pose en confiant les opérations à une

entreprise spécialisée.

1_ TRACCIATURA

• Segnare sulle estremità della lastra la porzione da tagliare.

• Posizionare la guida da taglio e fare in modo che la rotella

posta nel carrello incisore sia posizionata sopra alla traccia

per il taglio, bloccare la guida da taglio con carrello incisore

attraverso le apposite ventose.

1_ MARKING

• Mark the part to be cut off at the ends of the slab.

• Position the cutting guide and make sure that the wheel in

the scoring carriage is on the cutting mark, then fix the cutting

guide in place using the suction cups.

Fori tondi / Round holes

1_Adagiare la lastra Supreme® su un banco da lavoro o un

supporto compatto e non scivoloso come legno o cemento.

Bagnare con acqua l’area dove verrà praticato il foro.

1_Place the Supreme® slab on a hard, firm, non-slippery

surface such as wood or concrete. Wet the area where the

hole is to be drilled with water.

2_ INCISIONE

• Incidere per 5 cm una estremità della lastra spingendo

il carrello d’incisione verso il bordo della lastra e replicare

nell’estremità opposta.

• Completare l’incisione unendo i due bordi opposti.

NB: Avanzare con il carrello d’incisione applicando una

pressione costante per tutta la lunghezza del taglio.

2_ SCORING

• Score a length of 5 cm at one end of the slab, pushing the

scoring carriage towards the edge of the slab, and repeat

at the other end.

• Complete scoring along the distance between the two

opposite edges.

NB: Move the scoring carriage forward, applying constant

pressure throughout the length of the cut.

4_ FINITURA BORDI

• Lo smussamento degli angoli vivi dovrà essere effettuato

attraverso l’apposito tampone diamantato o in alternativa

mediante l’uso degli appositi dischi resinosi diamantati.

4_ FINISHING THE EDGES

• Sharp edges must be rounded with a diamond polishing pad

or diamond resin bond discs.

2_Eseguire il foro con un’angolazione di 75°-85° e penetrare

nella lastra per circa 1-2 mm di profondità.

2_Drill the hole at an angle of 75°-85° to a depth of 1-2 mm

into the slab.

3_ TRONCATURA

A_ Attraverso la guida da taglio spostare la lastra per consentire alla parte incisa di sporgere dal piano di lavoro di 5/10 cm circa.

B_ Sganciare le ventose per muovere verso il centro della lastra la guida da taglio e procedere con la troncatura posizionando

la pinza troncatrice in corrispondenza della linea incisa sulla lastra.

C_ Agire con una pressione leggera e progressiva fino a che si noti l’inizio troncatura.

D_ Spostarsi sul bordo opposto e posizionare la pinza troncatrice in corrispondenza della linea incisa sulla lastra e agire con

una pressione leggera e progressiva fino a che si noti l’inizio troncatura.

E_ Per completare la troncatura della lastra usare la pinza per esercitare una leggera pressione verso il basso, in

corrispondenza di tutta la lunghezza della lastra.

3_ BREAKING OFF

A_ Use the cutting guide to move the slab so that the scored part projects 5/10 cm off the work surface.

B_ Release the suction cups to move the cutting guide towards the middle of the slab and start to snap off the slab,

positioning the cutting pliers on the line scored in it.

C_ Apply gentle pressure with the pliers and gradually increase until the slab breaks.

D_ Move to the opposite side, place the pliers on the line scored in the slab and apply gentle pressure, gradually increasing

until the slab breaks.

E_ To complete the cut, apply a slight downward pressure along the entire length of the slab with the pliers.

Supreme® permette di essere lavorato con grande facilità tramite l’utilizzo di alcuni

semplici strumenti. Si consiglia di effettuare le lavorazioni su una superficie piana di

lavoro. Si consiglia di effettuare le lavorazioni di taglio in almeno due operatori.

Per i fori è sufficiente l’impiego di un solo operatore. Per ogni lavorazione è indispensabile

seguire fasi definite.

Cutting on the worksite

Supreme® slabs can be cut to size very easily with the aid of few simple tools. Slabs

should be cut on a flat work surface. Cutting should be performed by at least two

workers. Just one worker is sufficient for drilling holes. Preset procedures must be

followed for each operation.

Schneiden auf der Baustelle

Supreme® lässt sich mit wenigen einfachen Geräten besonders leicht bearbeiten.

Es wird empfohlen, die Bearbeitungen auf einer ebenen Arbeitsfläche auszuführen.

Es wird empfohlen, dass die Schneidarbeiten von mindestens zwei Arbeitern durchgeführt

werden. Für die Lochungen genügt ein Arbeiter.

Bei jedem Arbeitsgang sind unbedingt bestimmte Phasen zu befolgen

Les dalles Supreme® peuvent être coupées très facilement à l’aide des outils communément

utilisés à cet effet. Il est recommandé d’effectuer les opérations de coupe sur un plan de

travail plat. Il est recommandé d’effectuer les opérations de coupe à deux.

Les perçages peuvent en revanche être réalisés par un seul opérateur.

Pour chaque opération, il est indispensable de respecter la procédure prévue.

3_Mantenere il trapano/avvitatore ad un angolo di 90° e

3_Keep the drill/screwdriver at an angle of 90° and, applying

gentle, constant pressure, make circular movements at an

angle of about 5°-10°.

Do not push the drill/screwdriver straight downwards and

make sure that there is sufficient water to keep the tool wet

throughout the procedure.

4_Terminata l’operazione pulire da sporco e residui.

Clean to remove dirt and residues when done.

1_Tracciatura: segnare sulla lastra la porzione da tagliare.

2_Foro: attraverso i foretti diamantati eseguire il foro

in corrispondenza del punto di congiunzione delle linee

tracciate sulla lastra (fori tondi di circonferenza 7/8 mm).

2_Hole: use a diamond core drilling bit to drill a hole at the

point where the lines marked on the slab meet (round holes

7/8 mm in circumference).

3_Congiungere il foro con l’estremità della lastra attraverso apposita smerigliatrice angolare equipaggiata con disco diamantato.

3_Cut the section between the hole and the end of the slab using an angle-grinder fitted with a diamondblade.
