RIVESTIMENTO PVD

PVD COATING

Su richiesta, i prodotti IBB possono essere trattati mediante un rivestimento PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) in grado di costituire un film protettivo capace di garantire una

eccezionale resistenza all’abrasione e alla corrosione. Altra caratteristica peculiare dei rivestimenti PVD è quella di non contenere alcun elemento allergenico (cromo, mercurio,

nickel, cadmio, ecc.). Per tale ragione i prodotti trattati con questa tecnologia sono consigliati in ambiti in cui è probabile riscontrare persone sensibili a tali elementi (ospedali,

asili, scuole, ecc.). Dal punto di vista estetico, grazie alla partnership con Protim Lafer, leader mondiale nei trattamenti decorativi PVD, IBB è in grado di fornire rivestimenti unici

sotto l’aspetto cromatico: colorazioni esclusive ottenute mediante il trattamento IS-PRO® conferiscono ai nostri prodotti qualità estetiche in grado di adattarsi in ogni scelta

progettuale. Upon special order request, our IBB products can be treated by PVD coating (Physical Vapour Deposition) which creates a protective coloured film capable of ensuring

an outstanding resistance to both abrasion and corrosion. Another strong feature of PVD coatings is that it does not contain any allergenic elements (chromium, mercury, nickel,

cadmium, etc.). For this reason, all the products treated using this technology are recommended in public areas where highly sensitive people could be in contact with these

products (hospitals, kindergartens, schools, etc.). From an aesthetical point of view, thanks to the partnership with our own sister company Protim Lafer, a worldwide leader

in decorative PVD treatments, IBB is able to provide unique coatings with an exclusive colour-range using the IS-PRO® treatment, which gives our IBB products customized

aesthetical features suitable for any project choice.

RIVESTIMENTO ANTIBATTERICO

ANTIBACTERIAL COATING

Su richiesta, i prodotti IBB possono essere trattati mediante un rivestimento antibatterico brevettato denominato ABACO®. Il trattamento ABACO® produce un sottile film

protettivo che unisce i vantaggi di resistenza, durata e bellezza della finitura PVD con le eccezionali proprietà antibatteriche garantite dalla nanotecnologia. L’efficacia

antibatterica certificata è dovuta alle nano inclusioni presenti nel rivestimento che distrugge la membrana cellulare dei batteri e ne interrompe il ciclo di divisione cellulare.

L’azione antibatterica continua per tutta la vita attiva dell’oggetto e, grazie alle proprietà fisiche del rivestimento, tende a migliorare nel tempo. Il rivestimento antibatterico è

consigliato per tutti quei prodotti installati in luoghi in cui l’igiene sia un requisito fondamentale (ospedali, scuole, asili, ecc.). Upon special request, IBB products can be treated

by a patented anti-bacterial coating called ABACO®. The ABACO® treatment produces a thin protective film which combines the advantages of strength, durability and beauty

of PVD finish with outstanding antibacterial properties guaranteed by nanotechnology. This certified antibacterial efficacy is due to nano-inclusions present in the coating,

which destroys the cell membrane of bacteria and interrupts the cell division cycle. The antibacterial action continues throughout the active life of the object and, thanks to the

physical properties of the coating, tends to improve over time. The antibacterial coating is recommended for all products installed in locations where hygiene is a requirement

(hospitals, schools, kindergartens, etc.).
