EXPANSION JOINTS AND SPLITTING CUTS

Per garantire l’integrit

à del pavimento, si può

rendere necessario l’inserimento di giunti di

dilatazione o dei tagli di frazionamento, che

sono riportati nel progetto e nelle prescrizioni del

massetto.

I giunti di dilatazione compensano i cambiamenti

di super

ficie del massetto dovute al variare

termico dello stesso e vanno eseguiti se in

presenza di superfici superiori ai 40 m2 oppure

se la lunghezza di un lato supera gli 8 m. Devono

essere presenti dal pannello isolante

fino alla

pavimentazione

finale e neI caso i tubi dell’impianto

di riscaldamento li intersechino, dovranno essere

opportunamente inguainati per permettere una

libera dilatazione reciproca.

I tagli di frazionamento sono invece realizzati,

incidendo per circa 1/3 (rispetto allo spessore

totale) il massetto e genericamente sono eseguiti

quando si ha un passaggio tra un locale ed un altro

(in corrispondenza delle porte) o nel caso di cambi

rivestimento del pavimento.

L’uso della rete di rinforzo del massetto deve

seguire le regole dell’arte e le prescrizioni della

Direzione Lavori o Progettista. Essa ha funzione

antiritiro e di rinforzo del massetto. La scelta di

installazione dipende dal tipo di massetto.

sovrapporre le diverse reti almeno con una maglia.

Costituita da rete in

fibra di vetro, viene collocata

nella parte mediana del massetto.

La stesura dovrà essere interrotta in corrispondenza

dei giunti di dilatazione.
